Oh my goodness! Had the absolute pleasure of trying out this little bottle of absolute heaven. I wasn’t sure about the fragrance in the beginning – I had never smelled this combination of the Dans Le Noir Night perfume BUT, as the day went buy – it smelt better and better. Many new scents these days seem to be very samey and I was so excited to find that this one isn’t sharp or sweet or even overly familiar which made this so much better. This little bottle of magic is unisex too!!! I am traditionally old fashioned and wouldn’t’ even dream of buying something for myself that stated “for both men and women” but this has made me second guess all my sense of foreboding about trying something a little different. What else have I been missing out on??
The unique fragrance is enhanced by the familiar scent of sandalwood – soft and comforting on the skin – and Tonka bean, creamy and intense. Airy notes of silk and cotton further bring the delicate freshness together, enveloping the night in soothing softness.
The product details state that a mineral base, at once musky, animal and subtly amber, reveals a mysterious and captivating sensuality. Powdered vanilla, captivating and addictive, awakens the emotions and according to the advertising, opens the door to the secrets of your most intimate nights! According to the makers, sandalwood essence was a natural choice for its sensual facets that evoke a second skin. The use of exceptional raw materials, such as tonka bean absolute from Venezuela or Tonka lactone, a captive molecule with a marked signature, provides a unique texture, giving this perfume a rare and precious identity.
My skin is also very sensitive so I have to be extremely careful which products I use as anything not made of quality materials tends to aggravate childhood eczema and it takes months and months for me to get rid of it – regardless of only using the product once. I was simply over the moon when I tried Dans Le Noir and I had no skin aggravation at all which proves that the products used to make this unique fragrance are truly superior quality.
With Christmas fast approaching, this would be one of those products that you simply need on your list for Santa. The cute bottle in a small box was delivered in a quality made gift bag – this would make the ideal stocking filler for anyone this Christmas – my teenager has already asked if she could have this in hers! The product is also available in a slight bigger bottle (100ml) and retails at £139. And there is a tester available if you’re not yet completely sold and want to try it before you buy it – a small 2ml option for £4. The website is French but there is an option to change the print to English.
