Clckr Stand And Grip Review

I like to use my phone a lot, probably way more than I should, but I find that I’m always shuffling it around in my hand to get a comfortable position, and have been known to drop it on my face if in bed! I’ve also had to prop my phone up with books if I want to watch something but not hold it, and more often than not it will slide down at a crucial scene which is super annoying, so I really needed to find a better and more user friendly solution.

I was lucky enough to be sent the Clikr stand and grip to review, so I was hopeful this would be the solution I needed to save myself from gravity, and dropping my phone on my face! The stand and grip has a simple and clean design, contained in 100% recyclable packaging with no horrible plastic in sight. The front of the package has illustrations of how the stand and grip can be used, in both English and French, and also indicating that the stand has antimicrobial protection and that it is wireless charging compatible.

The stand can be removed from the packaging easily by cutting the slip of paper holding it in. Also contained in the package is a clear sticker which you can use to help adhere the stand directly to your phone if you don’t have a case to attach it to. The back of the package has simple and easy to follow instructions on how to attach the stand to your phone or case. My phone has a case so I didn’t need to use the additional sticker; after cleaning and drying the back of my case, I just peeled off the backing from the stand and then stuck it to my phone case, making sure to stick it on straight. Once on, you hold the stand in place for 1 minute so ensure it has adhered fully, and then you’re done.

The stand is simple and comfortable to use. You pull it out like a handle, and then you can slip your fingers inside to hold it secure while in use, or you can click just the top in, and then it will act like a stand which you can easily use in portrait or landscape mode, handsfree. I would say that for larger fingers you may struggle to fit all fingers into it but you can just use 3 fingers if so. The use of the stand would be really great for helping with video calls, as you can remove the wobbly image from having to hold your device during calls, and the grip function helps you to avoid those nasty drops where your screen or worse end up cracked or smashed. The stand and grip remains securely attached through use, and is also secure and level for calls.

When the stand isn’t in place, it satisfyingly clicks back into itself, leaving it very slim and unobtrusive on the case. The stand and grip is compatible with any phone as it doesn’t have to be compatible with any particular element of a case or phone, just have enough space to stick it on. This would be a great gift for mother’s day, particularly if you have a mother who is happy with their phone or case but would like to add the extra security of the stand and grip. They come in various designs so you can easily pick one to suit your personality or that of your gift recipient.
