The Clckr brand provides stylish covers and stands for mobile phones, from flip mobiles to Samsung and iPhone X and 11 models.

We tested some cases and stands which have attachments for fitting to the handlebars of exercise equipment or a bicycle, but it would work just as well as for a pram or even as a desk stand for your mobile whilst you’re at work, or if you need to have the stand set up so that you can perch it at the right angle for video conferencing!

We were sent four cases in different colours: the Grip Case (https://www.clckr.com/eu/grip-case-for-iphone-x-xs) and folio case (https://www.clckr.com/eu/folio-grip-case-for-iphone-x-xs) all for my iPhone X.

The cases all arrived in hard-wearing protective packaging as the Clckr website sends the products out direct. They could easily be sent out or posted on as presents because they come well wrapped, and not as if you bought them from an auction website who I know only send out with the minimum packaging. The products are all branded Adidas as well, which was a nice surprise.

I needed a stand to fix my iPhone to my exercise bike which I’ve set up at home whilst we’re in lockdown. The first case I tried was the black folio case, which for anyone who doesn’t know about phone cases, means it’s the one with cover flap over the front. The case itself is well made and sturdy, and doesn’t crumble without a phone in it. Inside the case flap, there’s a pocket for credit cards etc which makes sense if you’re using this as your everyday case. The phone fits snugly, and there are cut-outs for the camera at the back and the volume buttons on the left of the case. The base has three cut outs for headphones and charger leads, all of which fit nicely and don’t wriggle out.

I set this up for the exercise bike without having to look at the instructions (which each phone comes with.) The back attachment, which is securely part of the design, is a bracket that lifts from the back and creates a loop. This can then be threaded through the handlebars of exercise equipment or a pram then there are fittings at the back which allow you to lock it in place so that it doesn’t fall off or drop. The click-in fitting also allows you to create a stand at the back so that the phone case supports your phone in an upright position. At the moment, that’s most useful for video conferencing but it would also stand up if you need it on your desk or if you have a place to stand it in the car for the kids to watch cartoons or to have as sat nav.

We also looked at another design of case, the Grip Case. This case was sent to use in three different colours and designs. They all have the same principal where the phone sits in an open case and has the handlebar attachment at the back but they don’t have the cover on the front.

I tried each of them and they have the same lock attachment on the back, all of which worked perfectly. One of the cases was camouflage, one was black and both of them had slight padding to the pattern on the case. Very useful if they get dropped! The last case was the same design but the material was a semi-translucent plastic so you can still see the back of the phone. Useful if you have something etched on the back of your phone.

All the cases are made of tough shock-dispersing TPU material which make them extra handy whether in the gym or for every day life. There’s also free shipping from the website when your order is over £25, plus a one year warranty on all products.
