12V DC Ring Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator Review

I am very much a person who likes practical products, whether for myself or as a gift for someone else. I was therefore delighted to be offered a Ring Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator to review. The box design is great. It tells you exactly what you are getting and the way the main features of the product are shown is genius. I got this with my daughter’s dad very much in mind. He drives long distances for work and I like the fact that should the unexpected happen, he can re-inflate his van tyres quickly and easily. 

The product arrived quickly in perfect condition. It was easy to remove from the box. It is the perfect size and does not take up too much room wherever you chose to store it. I was delighted to find that the inflator comes with its zip up black storage bag. The product has clearly been well thought out as it contains:

• Digital tyre inflator
• Black zip up storage bag
• 3 piece adapter set
• 1x spare fuse
• 4x spare valve caps
• Disposable gloves

I was particularly impressed that the product had a pair of disposable gloves included. That would save getting dirty hands in the event of needing to inflate your vehicle tyres. The lead which goes into the 12V DC socket in your vehicle neatly winds up and tucks away and is a generous length. There is even a handy compartment within the design of the device to hold the part that attaches to your vehicle tyre. I love the fact that the readings are digital and so there is no doubt as to how pumped up your tyres are. As a female who would potentially be alone in her vehicle at night, the light function is such a good idea for practical and security purposes. The on and off button is easy to press and the instruction booklet is easy to follow with useful diagrams. The product, whilst very well made is light enough to carry and use. The digital tyre inflator even has a quick set auto stop. This means that once you have reached the required level of inflation, it stops pumping air into the tyre. The product even has a deflator valve. Approximate tyre inflation time is just 2 minutes (based on a 13” tyre), allowing you to get on your way quickly.

I think that this product would make an excellent Christmas Gift Idea for that special man in your life but I don’t think it is limited to this. I know that having this in my own vehicle would give me piece of mind for if the unexpected did happen and I needed to inflate one or more of my tyres to the recommended level. It would be great all year round. I far prefer this digital tyre inflator to the manual ones I have used in the past. This could be the perfect gift for that hard to buy for person who seems to have everything.
