Zk’in Brightening & Hydrating Masque Review

The masque comes in a cardboard box, it is sturdy and well designed. The top of the box clearly states that it is cosmos organic and certified by Australian Certified Organic. The instructions are clearly printed on the tube.

Upon opening the masque and removing the silver tab I notice that it had quite a distinctive smell, not one that I personally found pleasant.

The masque itself is a dark brown, it is quite a thin masque and a lot goes a long way so you do not need to use a lot to get good coverage, as the tube is 65ml it would last quite a number of applications.

I have very sensitive skin and I quite often have dermatitis on the face and was worried the masque may sting as I find this a lot with masque and creams etc…

I applied the masque in a thin even layer, it is recommended that it is left on for no longer than 10 minutes. After a couple of minutes I could feel my skin tightening. I left the masque on for approx. 6/7 minutes, I then removed with a hot wet cloth, it removed very easily and I was able to remove most of it without having to use a mirror. Once removed my skin felt very soft and smooth, there was no stinging and no redness, my skin felt soft for the remainder of the day and I had no dry areas like usual, my skin remained like that for the rest of the day.

Overall I was very pleasantly surprised by this masque and would certainly use it again despite finding smell of it unpleasant. It isn’t very often I find an item like this that does not irritate my sensitive skin and would therefor use it again and recommend it to others.
