Bare Necessities Parsnips 600g Bag
The colourful packaging really makes this brand stand out and it literally jumps off the shelf at you. The packaging is informative and explains that the parsnips are ethically traded, organic and pesticide free so you know what you are eating is safe and fair. The packet opened easily and the parsnips were all a great size. I decided to roast them with honey so started off by peeling them which was easy. The smell was delicious and had my tummy rumbling. I parboiled them for a few minutes before roasting and then transferred them to the oven and glazed them with honey. The end result was mouth wateringly good, myself and the family really enjoyed them. I will definitely be purchasing these again.

Bare Necessities Carrots 700g Bag
I was extremely impressed by the size and colour of these carrots and couldn’t wait to open them up and eat them. My entire family are vegetable mad so these did not last long. We opened the bright and colourful bag and proceeded to peel and baton them. We didn’t cook them as we wanted to eat them with hummus. The carrots tasted divine and were lovely and crunchy.

We used half of the 700g bag and will use the rest for our lunch on Sunday. These carrots are pesticide free so we know there are no hidden chemicals in them. The bag has just the right amount of information and is clear and simple to understand. These organic carrots beat the rest as they are fair trade and great value.

Bare Necessities Swede
I liked this swede as it was the perfect size which meant there was no food waste after dinner. It was easy to peel and chop and cooked perfectly. We boiled it with salt and mashed it up with the Bare Necessities Veggies diced carrots we were also reviewing and it was a feast! The packaging was easy to remove and took up hardly any room in my bin which is great.

Bare Necessities Diced Carrot Bag 400g
The packaging was a doddle to open and did not overwhelm me with info like some other brands have done in the past. These organic carrot cubes are ideal for stews, soups and mash to name a few ideas. They are a fabulous product as all the hard work has been done so you just open the bag and used them as you wish. We boiled them and mashed them with the Bare Necessities Swede we received and the flavours exploded in my mouth. An easy and delicious way to get your 5 a day.

Bare Necessities Swede Chunks 400g
As a busy parent of 3 I don’t always find time to prepare fresh veg so some days we don’t get our 5 a day so this product was a welcome visitor in our house. It was so easy to open the bag and put it in a big pan of soup ready for tomorrow’s tea. The Bare Necessities products are organic, fair to farmers and pesticide free so extremely healthy and nutritious. I cannot wait for tea tomorrow night as the other Bare Necessities products have all been tasty and filling.

A huge thumbs up from my family and we all rate these products
