Menkind Wall Climbing Car Review

I absolutely love boy toys. I am a 40 something big kid at heart. I was therefore very excited when waiting for Menkind to deliver the wall climbing car. It was available in 3 lovely bright primary colours, red, green and blue. I opted for blue. My parcel arrived promptly, with the contents well packaged, but not over packaged. I do like companies who clearly care for the environment.

I could not wait to get started. I had already been out and bought a pack of AA batteries (not supplied with the item) before the car arrived, it requires six for the remote control. I recommend that you read the instruction leaflet before first use of the wall climbing car because if you don’t, you could potentially damage the product. The wall climbing car should only be used on smooth surfaces with no objects sticking out of the wall like screws or hooks. What I also discovered is that the car can be used both on floors, without the suction coming on and on walls/ceilings with the suction on. There is a switch on the car for ground use and another for walls/ceilings. Please note that the wheels of the car should be wiped with a damp cloth before each use. I also urge caution when using the car on floors. If you do not switch off the wall/ceiling mode, then the car can suck up fluff etc.

It takes 40 minutes to fully charge the car. You then get around 6 minutes of time to play with it. It’s well worth the wait. We (grown adults) were shrieking in delight when playing with the car (and it was only the car climbing the walls). I did find the suction quite noisy at first but you soon get used to it and it is necessary to keep the car on the wall or ceiling.

I love this item, I play with it regularly. It really does brighten up even the most challenging of days. The remote control is easy to grip. The car is not too big. I have taken it with me on several weekends away. Whilst I am a big kid, this car has got the approval of a friend’s teenager who begged to try it out herself.

I was already familiar with Menkind and have browsed several stores in the past. I find their prices reasonable and they have some excellent offers on which make a purchase even more of a bargain. There are always several Menkind items at a time on my boy toy wish list. Their staff members in store are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.  

I was also sent a Motion Control UFO to try out, so Menkind literally made my week. Since I discovered Menkind, their toys have always been on my Christmas list, this year will be no exception. Every product I have had has looked fantastic and been built from quality materials that will last. My favourite thing about the car is that it lights up when in use.
