A unique, long-haired figurine complete with mini accessories. Given its own special name, a truly magical description and a motto of “Love your Zelf…” Packaged in sturdy plastic, with full view of the figure, a colourful backing card and the description… these figures sell themselves. Each figure is different in styling/colours etc…
A brief description from manufacturer – “Love your Zelf! Meet The Zelfs, colourful creatures with wacky hair! There are twelve Zelfs to collect, including the ultra-rare Clover Zelf! Each comes with hair styling accessories and comb to keep those wayward locks in-line plus a charm that can be worn by the Zelf or 'yourzelf'. Also comes complete with their own biography and storytelling themes.”
Well what can I say… I LOVE these figures. They remind me of the whimsical parts of my childhood – collecting similar figures known as “Trolls” so these sold to me the moment I set my eyes on them! As soon as my daughter saw it, she couldn’t wait to get it open. Opening for us did require scissors, but what doesn’t these days, so this wasn’t a problem. “She is beautiful” was the first thing Amber said… followed shortly by combing her hair with the mini comb supplied and gazing over her magical looking design. “Angelala”, unlike the other more brightly coloured Zelfs, is a beautiful frosty white colour with silver, sparkly, wings… a perfect little angel and in my opinion, is one of the best for sparkle obsessed girly girls like my daughter. Amber has played with this little figure every day since we received it, and is already requesting more ‘Zelfs’ for her “Angelala” to befriend and to build a collection of.
Overall, these figures are great. They are a lovely toy for roleplay, imagination and bring something magical and fairylike to a little girls play. I feel you can easily only have one ‘Zelf’ and keep it as a special little toy but you definitely WANT more than one for more creative play between “Zelfs” and to push the concept of them having their own magical world. There is a ‘Zelf’ to suit every personality too… all different colours with their own little themes. At the low retail price of £5.99 for the medium size I would not hesitate to purchase more, we definitely WILL be very soon and they have been added to the mental list of “must haves from Santa!”
We can’t wait to get another Zelf! Recommend for all the little fairy princesses out there!
