I was recently sent some Chokablok Christmas Tree chocolate bars to review. I received 2 different flavours: Gold Digger Dynamite and The Chocolate Extremist and they are both great but my favourite is definitely the Gold Digger Dynamite.
Each bar is 150g chocolate bar in the shape of a Christmas Tree and decorated with different sweet goodies.
The Gold Digger Dynamite
This is a milk and white chocolate tree decorated with milk chocolate caramel cups and delicious honeycomb on its “branches”. This was my favourite and before I knew it the whole by was gone and I can’t even blame anyone else as I was the only person in the room. All the flavours blend well together with the honeycomb making it nice and crunchy. Delicious.
The Chocolate Extremist
This a milk chocolate tree with a dark chocolate swirl decorated with milk chocolate balls and crunchy brownie pieces. Although this is lots of chocolate it all works well together for a great taste without being too sweet or sickly.
Overall, both these bars are great tasting and would make an ideal Christmas gift for chocolate lovers or just as a treat for yourself. I know I will be buying more. At £4 per 150g packet some may consider it to be slightly on the expensive side but once you taste it you will know it is worth every penny.
