Caboodle changing bags were developed when a busy academic mum struggled to find a suitable changing bag to fit all of her baby stuff in. Designer Ruth Kirby-Smith decided after having her second baby that she would design the bag which she would like to have. It would be large like a shopping bag and have plenty of pockets. The 25 year old company have a wide range of bags at a very reasonable price.
When looking for a changing bag I go for style as well as practicality. As a bagaholic I have plenty of changing bags for my 1 year old son. However, I wanted something new that would match my new winter boots and my winter kit on my pushchair. I chose the grey stars bag from the fun and funky range from Caboodle. The oil cloth wipe clean bag is perfect as I do a lot of walking and with the winter months coming up it is ideal for keeping my things dry in the rain. Inside there are 5 pockets plus a huge changing mat, which is fantastic, there is also an insulated bottle bag and a clear bag to put dirty clothes in.
I love the size of this bag, it is huge compared to other changing bags I have (which I find myself rooting around in to find what I need). The space in the caboodle bag is great and I can even fit in all my 4 year olds bits and bobs in too.
The bag also has: a webbing handle, an adjustable shoulder strap, five internal pockets including mum’s zipped pocket with phone pouch, two external pockets, changing mat, insulated bottle bag, grubby stuff bag and the perfect size for use as an overnight or hospital bag.
I absolutely love this bag; it comes in a clear carry bag to store it away. This is a brilliant idea as it will stop it getting damaged when stored away.
