Big fun for little ones at
ZSL Whipsnade Zoo’s
Family Festival

Little ones are invited to have some big fun this summer at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo’s Little Creatures family festival.

Designed especially for the under 10s, the fun-filled festival includes space hopper races, giant games, bouncy castle, storytelling, face painting and much more.

Running over four days, children can get artsy in the Crafty Critters Zone, colouring in animal masks and creating plasticine friends to take home with them.

Colourful zoo characters will be hosting daily meet and greets, an enchanted journey along the rainbow trail will lead little ones to the Fairy Queen, and Zoogie Woogie’s disco will give them a chance to boogie to their favourite songs.

The fun doesn’t stop there, as families can explore Whipsnade’s wonderful world of animals with more than 200 species to see, along with an action packed programme of demonstrations, talks and feeds.

And little ones will have the chance to see some of the Zoo’s very own little ones – including lynx kitten triplets and Scott, Whipsnade’s youngest elephant, before refuelling at an international food festival on the main lawn dishing up mouth watering foods from around the world as well as the best of British.

Little Creatures family festival takes place from August 17 to August 20 and all activities are included in the standard zoo admission ticket offering fantastic value for money for visitors.
