Who loves a bit of interactive play with the family and children…. I know I and my family do and the 100 Pics Flags game will get everyone going.
It is a fantastic way to train your memory, interact, test your knowledge and skills and all whilst learning at the same time.
I have to confess, I do not know all the flags and what better way than using these picture cards as a game. Apart from making it educational, especially for children, It makes it fun all at the same time.
Even if you think you know all the flags, still give it a go, my husband thought he did and was very surprised to learn that he did not. He expanded his knowledge and we had a giggle at the same time.
We also had a dinner party with friends and played it. We played it in such a way that I kept a score sheet, showed 1 card at a time and the first person to put their hand up got the opportunity to name the flag, if they guessed correctly, I would mark it on the score sheet. If they got it wrong, the next hand go to up would then get the opportunity to name the country. This would be repeated until the flag was guessed correctly. If no-one guessed correctly. I would show the country’s name and then put it back in the deck. A great way to see who is paying attention and to see who can remember.
We have quite a few get togethers and dinner parties with our friends and family where we played by making up separate teams or even couples. That worked out just as much fun too. So, you really can adapt this fun way of learning in any way you wish.
The same concept was applied with the younger children and they loved it. The ages of the children were 6, 8, 11, 13 & 15. They even enjoyed played it together if I was busy prepping dinner, or doing some chores. It was really lovely to see them interact, have a laugh and giggle together. Now-a-days, it is far too easy to chuck an iPad or iPhone in front of children and let them get on with it, so it was refreshing to see them play this and hear the laugh and chuckle together. They played for hours.
HOW TO PLAY
Without anyone else seeing, open the top of the card holder, place the cards in the device which has 4 green panelled sections to cover up the card.
You can open 1 panel at a time to see how quickly someone can guess the flag before seeing the whole picture of the flag
If they do not guess it from the picture, at the bottom, it shows an anagram of the name.
If they can not guess it from the anagram, slide across the section across that is between the picture and anagram to reveal the country’s name
Each time a card is played, take it out to reveal the next one.
Once the first 50 have been played, turn the deck around, pop them back into the device and start again.

AGE GROUP
7+, however, personally and this will depend on your child, you could start younger. I have my great nephew who is 3 years old and can already identify some of the flags. As the saying goes, you are never to young to learn.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS
The box says 1-1 but as my comments above show, you can adapt it accordingly. 1-1 is fantastic of course but if you have more than one child, it is a great way to bring them all together as a team. One on one but you can adapt it in any way you wish.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PLAY A GAME
There is no specific time in which the game has to be completed, just enjoy it for what it is.
CONTENTS

RATING: 5/5
It is a fantastic game to play, whether with adults and or children. I loved the fact the children really got into it, specially and great quality time spent with them to help educate and learn.
