WOW, WOW, WOW, on your marks, gets set… 60 seconds and you are ready to launch those water filled balloons!
The Zuru Bunch O Balloons Dual Launcher comes with a 130+ multi coloured water balloons as follows:-
The balloons are divided into 4 bunches with different coloured water balloons and the plastic stems come in the following colours too:-
Each balloon is tied to the top of the step with an elastic band; I’ll come to that later.
Each bunch of stems are connected to a cap that fits straight onto your hose. Simply connect it to your hose and fill up. POINT TO NOTE… Make sure your hose has no air in it by running the hose first before connecting. Once connected, fill the balloons up with water. You want to aim for approximate 3 inches in diameter as instructed on the back of the box.
Our tap is connected to the wall but found it best not to connect the balloons to the tap but connect the hose to the balloons, that way, the balloons are not restricted when filling up with the water. Once they are filled up, you can either shake the hose as the balloons will fall off, or you can pull them off, just make sure either way is done gently. What I like about these water balloons and as I mentioned earlier, they come with an elastic band. This then seals the balloon when you shake or pull them off, which means you don’t even have to tie them! AWESOME and saves your fingers too.
Now for the launchers.
The kit comes with 2 multi coloured launchers, one with blue handle and orange balloon holder, the other with a yellow handle and blue balloon holder. These make launching balloons so much more fun with their bright and bold colours.
The launcher handles a sturdy and balloon holder and is more flexible. Just be sure not to overload the holder with too many balloons. I put in 2 and was worried it might break the holder, so I stuck to just one balloon.
The launchers are easy to hold and grip and once you have mastered the art of launching the water balloons, you will be surprised just how far these can be thrown. The box says that you can launch up to 72 feet (22 metres) and this is most certainly achievable, if you are a good launcher that is. I myself was useless, not helped by a physical muscle condition but oh boy! Get the grandkids involved and my husband too, this was an absolute game changer. I was astounded at how far they could launch the water balloons and that was just the start of it.
The grandchildren and husband decided to do a play off, see who could launch the furthest, well, as you can imagine, sore losers then decided they wanted to launch some water balloons at each other, soaking wet is what they all ended up like lol. I made sure that they launched the water balloons to the ground as they launched them, the last thing I wanted was for them to actually hit and hurt someone, so, please be careful if you do decide to launch at each other.
GOOD TO KNOW
The stems, caps and balloons are made from certified recycled plastic and what makes these more awesome to know… is that once you have finished with them, they can be recycled again, another great way to help and save the planet.
Just one thing to bear in mind, you may want to launch the balloons within the same area, otherwise you will be darting all over the place picking up bits of plastic. Just get the kids to help. After all, they enjoyed the fun and it teaches them to be responsible and help look after our planet.
