We’ve Got The First Look At Chessington World of Adventure’s Brand New Ride, Croc Drop!

WE HAVE A PREVIOUS REVIEW RELATIONSHIP WITH CHESSINGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES WHERE, ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION, A REVIEWER + GUESTS HAVE BEEN GIVEN COMPLIMENTARY ENTRY IN EXCHANGE FOR WRITING A REVIEW.

Chessington World of Adventures Resort is excited to reveal, for the very first time, imagery of its brand-new ride for 2021, Croc Drop. As the Resort completes its preparations for opening on Monday April 12 it has shared nine images of the most exciting ride to ‘drop’ this Spring. The drop tower, Croc Drop, is the first NEW ride at the family Theme Park and Zoo in Surrey since 2013, and represents a multi-million-pound investment.

Those daring to ride will plunge 25m into the giant jaws of a crocodile, Sobek, the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God and protector of the Nile, who has been possessed by evil spirits, transforming him into a cruel deity. With the once fertile Nile laying stagnant, riders must take part in a ceremony to banish the evil spirits from Sobek, plunging into the crocodile’s soul and freeing the water’s back into the Nile. Those a minimum height of 1.2m* must… ‘brave the drop to release the curse’.

Chessington will be reopening its gates once again on Monday, with all the required hygiene and safety measures in place to ensure guests have a safe, wild adventure.
