The packaging is a standard cardboard pack, suitable size for stocking fillers or party bag.
The product consists of 32 glossy cards with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters with game rule insert in several languages. Eight “families” of four cards with different colours, symbols, letters and numbers.
Overall, this pack is a 2-in-1 game pack and fortunately, I have two sons, one is 4 years old (and the pack recommends these cards from 4+ years) and the other is 7 years old. I found the Happy Families game was just about suitable for my bright 4 year old and the Action Game more suited to the 7 year old, as it was more complex. The 4 year old is very keen on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in general and so these cards were a great success with him from the start, but he did struggle a little with the letters and numbers, but soon worked out that the colours were significant enough in the gameplay to win the game. The 7 year old was equally happy to play both games, but preferred the Action Game, especially as he won! The rules were clear and easy to follow and we all enjoyed our games evening and hope to repeat it soon and I imagine that these cards will be used again.
