Working full time with three kids and trying to complete a qualification doesn’t leave much time for sleep and even when I do manage to get some sleep, it never is the full 10 hours like I would like.  Needless to say, that leaves me so tired and now that I’m in my forties, you can tell tiredness by just looking at one’s eyes.

I was looking for something that I could use to help my poor eyes look half decent so I was delighted when I had been given the opportunity to try out this product.  The bottle isn’t very big but you only need one drop in each eye.

The lid is adequately sealed when you open the box.  The liquid in the bottle is clear.

The product is specially formulated with Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid to afford instant relief and long-lasting comfort, that re-establishes your eyes’ surface through the night.  The technology of Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid offers a longer-lasting lubricating and hydrating action compared to regular Hyaluronic Acid.  This increases the comforting, protecting and restoring of your eyes overnight.

I definitely found that with this one-stop preservative free drop allowed me to wake up happy and able to start my day with eyes that feel refreshed, repaired, and restored every single day this week.  I normally wake up with dry, tired, or irritated eyes, which I find very frustrating.  It can be difficult to shake off uncomfortable symptoms, such as itchiness, soreness, and grittiness, as you go about your day.  I experience dry eyes because I struggle to get a good night’s sleep.  Research has shown that when you are sleep deprived, you produce fewer tears.

This product guarantees to:
-Repair, restore and protect your eyes’ surface while you sleep

What I find fascinating is that the product is very much suitable for everyone over the age of three – having three children has me always looking if items are safe for children.  Not just because they could use it too, more about the fact that I know if I need to keep it away from them for their safety.

The product is rather easy to use – you simply tilt your head back and gently squeeze 1 or 2 drops into each eye, 1 or more times a day or as otherwise advised by a healthcare professional.  I would only use it at night – the item feels almost oily (not in my eyes but on my fingers) and the first night, I used it half an hour before I went to sleep and found my eyes to be weeping a little bit.  From then on, I used the drops immediately before I went to sleep and I didn’t experience the same issue as the night before.

For contact lens users, apply 2 – 3 drops on the lens before insertion or into the eye after insertion.  Add onto the lens when fitted as needed.

Very important to note: The items has to be stored between 2°C and 30°C in a dry place away from heat and direct exposure to sunlight. Discard 3 months after first use.  The Ingredients are:
Cross-Linked Sodium Hyaluronate aqueous Solution (of which sodium hyaluronate cross polymer 0.4%). Trometamol, Hydrochloric acid 2N, Sodium Chloride, W.F.I.. Preservative free.

I’m going to allocate this product a 4/5 – it’s the best one I’ve used so far.  The item would make a fantastic stocking filler for any beauty lover and can be purchased from Boots here.
