We visited the Royal China restaurant for lunch and it was really east to find. The nearest tubes are Baker Street, Marble Arch and Bond Street and the restaurant is about an 8-minute walk away.

We were greeted straightaway and in spite of the restaurant being busy we were seated immediately. The staff were very helpful and talked us through the menu options. There are set lunches, A la Carte and an extensive Sushi menu. We chose a range of options from the sushi/dim sum menu and some soups.

The restaurant was really clean and well decorated and very spacious. The tables are all a good size and well-spaced out so in spite of being very full it was not at all noisy or congested.

All of our dishes were excellent and the service was superb throughout. The variety of options was outstanding so no matter who you bring there is great choice for all. We had mostly from the Dim Sum menu. The crab and lobster soup was delicious as were all the other little parcels. There was a wide selection of different meats and fish. We had chicken, pork and seafood mainly. Every single dish they bought to our table was beautifully presented and provided a taste explosion in your mouth.

All our food was clearly freshly made and to a very high standard and we were disappointed we could not find room for more. We will be going back soon to try the A la carte menu and very clearly seafood is their speciality here and some of the dishes look incredible.

Out of 5, we rate it 5 and look forward to going back or visiting a sister restaurant soon.

Rating: 5/5 thumbs_up
