The Acrobat by Gabriel Alborozo Review

Reviewed by Zoe Wild
The Acrobat by Gabriel Alborozo is aimed at the under 5’s, it’s very colourful with beautiful illustrations all the way through.
The story is about an acrobat who’s fed up with not being noticed. There aren’t very many words which my husband was a bit negative about but I found it made the book more engaging. You can ask your child questions about the story all the way through as the illustrations tell more of a story than the story itself. Which is how children are encouraged to start reading at school. We noticed that there is one character that is very interested in the Acrobat on every page, see if you can find him too.
My 4 year old son enjoyed the book and we’re still reading it regularly after a week and my 5 month old seems to like the colours. I think it’s a lovely book which spans the ages it’s been written for.
