Galt Toys are known for their quality and the Fill and Spill Barn is no exception. Developed in partnership with parenting expert Dr Miriam Stoppard, the wooden barn and animals are designed to help the development of hand-eye co-ordination, as well as being bright, attractive and sturdy enough for even the most boisterous toddler! There’s also a useful instruction book enclosed which suggests activities that the toy can be used for with your child to get the maximum developmental potential from it.
The set consists of a wooden barn and 8 animals. It was well packaged and sturdy, and great for imaginative play. The roof of the wooden barn lifts off and attempts to reattach it are great for encouraging fine motor skills.
My daughter loved taking the animals in and out of the barn and making all of the animal noises to go with the figures, and I’m sure she will be playing with it for years to come. I’d be delighted to add more from this range into her collection.
