With the festive season literally around the corner, most people are busy shopping and probably close to finalising their Christmas gift and grocery shopping! Just make sure you read this review before you are completely done! My Christmas must haves include my favourite films, Christmas pyjamas and as much Christmas chocolate as possible to see you through the holidays. So having the opportunity to try out this lovely box of little treats gift wrapped in layers of chocolate, it was only fair to try each and every one to be able to compare it to one another!!!

I was very intrigued when I discovered these chocolates have zero artificial flavours! And zero artificial colours!! And these mouthwatering delights are also suitable for vegetarians. So, now to get to the interesting stuff! The flavours…..I’ve tried listing these as my most favourite to least favourite but it’s important to state that I did try every flavour and there wasn’t a single one that I bit into and didn’t finish!!! So, in order of most to least, here we go!
Banoffee Pie Chocolate and crispies with banana infused caramel in milk and white chocolate topped with toffee pieces is most likely the best one I have ever tried. In my whole life! Ever! Crème Brûlée Sweet vanilla custard truffle on a layer of caramel, topped with white chocolate and a sprinkle of caramelised sugar was the next best one.

Hazelnut Torte has the most delicious praline combined with caramelized hazelnut pieces in a sweet white chocolate cup. Raspberry Infusion White chocolate truffle infused with raspberry, on a bed of raspberry truffle wrapped in rich dark chocolate was a particular favourite regardless of the dark chocolate, it really surprised me how much I enjoyed this one as I’m not a fan of dark chocolate. Spiced Latte Double roasted arabica bean coffee blended with mixed spice and white chocolate creates a Devine latte chocolate. Lemon Posset Smooth and creamy lemon truffle in a dark chocolate cup with a sprinkle of crunchy meringue pieces

Berry Eton Mess is made of lashings of luscious berries, blended with crisp meringue pieces and white chocolate in a milk chocolate shell. Triple Chocolate Shot A dark chocolate shell filled with rich dark chocolate ganache topped with creamy caramel and a sprinkle of white chocolate flakes. Dark Orange A splash of zesty orange, encased in gooey ganache and finished with a flourish of orange pieces was probably my least favourite but I’m not a huge fan of orange and dark chocolate combinations. This one is the last of the six flavours in this fabulous box – 24 pieces of chocolate in the box.

I rate this product as 5/5 and recommend it for ALL Christmas stockings this festive season! You can’t go wrong with this item! I’ve looked at the Lilly O’Brien’s website and there are other boxes that I’m desperate to try now that I’ve tried the Christmas collection.
