Mad Beauty Valentines Range Review

Just when winter is getting you down Valentines Day pops on the horizon with not only the hint of Spring, but shop windows full of cheerful displays of gifts and flowers. It’s the perfect excuse to treat your loved one and bring a little joy to the gloomy days. Whether you are still feeling the effects of Christmas and are on a small budget or are wanting to splash out a little there are plenty of gifts out there to choose from.

Not only my purse, but also my waistline, is still feeling the effects of Christmas, so my gift of choice would be steering clear from the traditional chocolates. So, if like me you are looking for a calorie free gift this year, take a look at the Valentines range from Mad Beauty. With a lot of their products ranging from a cost effective £4.99 to £9.99 you can find something in your budget whether it’s a small gift or several items from the range to create a gorgeous hamper style gift.

I was very lucky to be sent several items from the Disney Mickey and Minnie Valentines range, and I immediately liked the packaging as it was perfect for any age group, neither too plain for younger recipients nor too childlike for anyone older. The pink and red packaging overlaid with black Mickey and Minnie Mouse characters really stood out for all the right reasons.

One of the items I received looked like a super cute pair of glasses but was in fact a duo of face masks (Mad Beauty Face Mask Pods £4.99) one clay and one gel, extremely easy to use these masks get applied to the skin, then you can just relax for 5-10 mins whilst the mask works its magic, then wash with warm water for a lovely refreshed looking face. If you aren’t keen on the cream type masks, then try the plastic free and biodegradable bamboo sheet masks. (Mad Beauty Tear and Share Face Masks £6.50) Coming in a heart shape package, there are two masks so you can tear the pack in half and share with your loved one. Another easy-to-use gift just place on your face, and eyes for 10-12 minutes. This is a brilliant gift if you are apart on Valentine’s day as its easy to pop in the post. If long relaxing baths are your ideal evening in, then how about some bath fizzers. I received two totally different styles of gift pack, large letter shaped fizzers spelling out the word love, mainly in pink, but with a fun Mickey Mouse head in black in place of the letter O (Mad Beauty Love Letter Bath Fizzers £9.99), and a pack containing 5 differently wrapped bath fizzers with a spinner to help you choose which one to use (mad Beauty Bath Fizzer Set £9.99), both sets where red raspberry and Honeydew and smelt absolutely gorgeous. The final product in my parcel was the bath and body set, consisting of 200ml bottles of each body wash and body lotion in red and pink, paired with a black body buff, it’s the perfect present for anyone of any age and comes in the same delicious fragrance of raspberry and honeydew (Mad Beauty Bath & Body Set £9.99).

I was surprised and delighted at the products from Mad Beauty they are excellent value for money, all really useable, nothing to stick in the back of your cupboard to be never used, have a fabulous fragrance and striking packaging. There is a myriad of other items to see on their online shop and with ranges from Loony Tunes to Star Wars there really is something for everyone. I didn’t know much about Mad Beauty before this review and now they will be my go to for gifts for all ages.
