Recently I was chosen to review the latest CBeebies Live! Justin & Friends Easter  Tour 2013  for www.whatsgoodtodo.com and I couldn't wait nor could the family! We chose to go to the 04/04/13 show which began at 1.30pm at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

It took us about 39 minutes to get there from our home in Manchester and we found the arena with ease. As we had used the car we decided to use the multi storey cat park opposite the arena and paid £5 which gave us up to 5 hours parking time. Once we had parked the car we took the lift down to the ground floor and made our way over to the arena box office to collect out tickets. Unfortunately our tickets were nowhere to be found so booking in took longer than we had originally expected. After explaining I was from What's Good To Do and filling in a form the tickets were soon reprinted and the stewards pointed us in the right direction to the seating area we were in.

We soon found our seats and the view was amazing so we knew we would have a fantastic time as we could see the stage clearly.

The show soon began and the well-known and much loved CBeebies characters came out on stage and dazzled us all with their comical performances, singing and dancing.

Each set change took place quickly and efficiently and the children barely noticed the props being moved about as their eyes were fixed firmly upon the stars onstage.

The show is highly amusing and stars the wonderful Justin Fletcher MBE, my daughters favourite CBeebies presenter Andy Day, our favourite scientist Nina (from Nina and the Neurons) played by Katrina Bryan, CBeebies loveable cook Katy Ashworth (from I Can Cook) and many other wonderful characters and dancers.

Justin is amazing and lots of his Gigglebiz characters came out for example Nana Knockerbocker and The Lost Pirate.

I looked over to where my husband was sat and at the grand old age of 43 he was having the time of his life ad thoroughly enjoyed the show. My 11 year old step-daughter also had a great time even though the show was aimed at a younger audience she had fun and said it was really good. My daughter Kate 6 didn't stop singing, cheering, dancing and clapping for the entire show and burst into tears when her favourite character Mr Tumble appeared on stage. She was so excited she cried bless her.

The show was spectacular and the characters got the whole audience involved singing and dancing to the well-known songs. Before we knew it, it was interval time and the audience had 20 minutes to use the loo and grab a drink etc. Whilst waiting for the show to resume we purchased a programme for a very reasonable £6 which was packed with activities, stories and stickers! Kate loved it.

The second half of the show was amazing and the encore at the end finished with fireworks which looked amazing! Justin sang his hit song Hands Up at the end and everyone joined in singing along.

Overall we had a brilliant time and would without a doubt go again as the performance was put of this world! The entire team of actors, singers, dancers and crew did such a fantastic job and made out day out very special indeed.

Rating: 5/5
