Dead Sea Aromatherapy Bath Salts with Frankincense Review

The full name of this product is in fact Malki Dead Sea Aromatherapy Bath Salts with Frankincense Oil and Rose Petals. That’s pretty self-explanatory as to what this item is, although I can at least attempt to describe the fragrance, which is powerful, divine and heavenly! I couldn’t wait to give them a try, however it took me a little time to get an opportunity when my baby would sleep long enough!
The bath salts came in a much bigger container than I imagined and you don’t need very much, about a handful, so it should last a while. I admit the smell is so wonderful that I am tempted to add more, although it really isn’t necessary. The salts dissipate easily with a swirl of the water and the scent fills the bathroom, immediately creating a calming atmosphere. I was more than happy to slip into a hot bath and read my book while letting whatever result was expected to take place! It simply makes a bath transform into an indulgent sea of relaxation and I felt completely refreshed and revived afterwards.
Despite the beneficial qualities that the salt from the Dead Sea is said to contain, I haven’t seen any great change to my very dry skin patches. Perhaps with a few more baths (I’ve had 2 so far), I may see a result, but it certainly hasn’t exacerbated the condition, which is a good sign. I believe at least some relief from itching for example, is what is expected and this is perfect for those who may have trouble with chemicals or detergents. It’s important to note that this is a 100% natural product, so anyone with a skin condition can be assured that it should not cause problems.
The only downside to this is the delightful rose petals – delightful for their incredible fragrance and delicate appearance which makes the bath seem so appealing, yet slightly annoying for the fact that they can stick to your body or hair (easily washed away of course), and worse, clog the plug hole! Best to be careful when the water is let out. A minor niggle though for an overall fabulous experience. I certainly would recommend these to anyone looking for a luxury bath product that is also kind to problem skin and made from completely natural products. Not to mention the sensational fragrance. They also make a Jasmine Oil and Rose Petals one, so I’ll be buying that soon to enjoy more escapes to paradise!
