Ghost Hunt Evolution Review

We got sent the fantastic Ghost Hunt Evolution to review just in time for October half term and with lots of Halloween themed activities it was perfect. My children aged 3 and 5 were very excited when they saw the box and instantly wanted to play but unfortunately I didn’t have enough batteries at home, it requires 4 x AA for the skull and 3 x AAA for the gun which I feel is the only let down of the game. The next day we got the batteries and waited till the room was dark enough to play.

Setting up the game was really easy and the instructions where easy to follow. The skull and gun synced first time so we were already to play. Ghosts and bats fly around the room which are being projected from the skull and you have to shoot as many as you can. Every time you have shot a ghost or bat on target it lets out a scream throughout the gun speakers the spooky sound effects adds to the whole experience of the game. The game only comes with one gun so you have to take it in turns but you can purchase another gun if you wanted to compete against each other. The age of my children I don’t think this is needed but I can see older children buying this. There are so 3D glasses to wear to give it a 3D effect, both myself and husband wore the glasses where as my sons found it easier without but you can do either. It is a fast paced game, with 3 different speed settings for different age children but we’ll be sticking with setting one for now.

This game is great fun and both my husband and boys love it and it’s been played every evening during half term. It’s great for all ages and keeps the children entertained. We also played it at our Halloween party and now it’s a top game on a few of the children’s Christmas List. It’s highly recommend from our family.
