Yours Naturally Naturally Yours (YNNY) is a natural organic skin and hair care brand founded by Georgina Tang in Liverpool in 2011. The Company mission is “to create high-quality natural organic hair and skincare that nourish, hydrate, rejuvenate and enhance customers beauty.”
The products I tested were Enhanced Collagen Booster with hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and B3 – 3 in 1 serum and Elixir Floral – anti aging serum. The products packaging is very understated with a silver grey and white cardboard outer and silver and glass pump dispenser bottle holding 15ml of the serums. YNNY claim that their customers have called the Elixir Floral “Botox in a bottle or miracle in a bottle”.
With such amazing recommendations, I couldn’t wait to give these natural skin care products a try. The instructions were easy to understand and simple to carry out. They can be used as part of a two stage process for maximum benefit. I started with Enhanced Collagen Booster and as directed dispensed a small pump into the palm of my hand. I then applied it sparingly, first to the eye area followed by the cheeks, forehead, mouth area and then using upward strokes to the neck. The serum is clear and viscose. It absorbs easily into the skin and is not at all sticky. I had been concerned that there may be some tingling or tightness of my skin, but I needn’t have worried. The serum felt cool and comforting both during and after application and left my skin feeling smooth and soft.
I allowed a few minutes for the Enhanced Collagen Booster to settle into my skin then continued with the second stage, the Elixir Floral. The application process is the same for both products, but the Elixir Floral is a very different serum. It is an oil based serum and is rich bronze in colour. As the name suggests the smell is floral. This serum feels high end, like something that would be used in a salon facial. Unlike the Enhanced Collagen Booster the Elixir Floral is not immediately absorbed into the skin, but sits on top leaving a sheen on the skin. The feeling on the skin is a little oily, but very softening and hydrating. YNNY say there is no need for a facial moisturiser after using these serums. I would recommend using these products at bedtime as it would be difficult to apply makeup after using the Elixir Floral due to the oiliness.
YNNY also produce an unscented version, Elixir, which is recommended for people with sensitive skin or skin conditions like eczema, melasma, hyperpigmentation, rosacea and people undergoing chemotherapy.
I just love beauty products and trying out new ones is always a treat. The YNNY serums didn’t disappoint. They are organic, reasonably priced and easy to apply, feel lovely and although I have only been using them for a few days my skin feels very soft and I feel my face looks more radiant and smoother. These products would make a great gift or a treat for yourself.
