Rosemary Conleys Amazing Inch Loss Plan Review
Rosemary Conley’s
Amazing Inch Loss Plan
Reviewed by Nicola McCallum
After overindulging over Christmas I have vowed to shed some extra weight and change my eating habits and I was hoping that this book would meet my expectations. On the cover it states “Lose a stone in a month” and with this as my target I was hopeful.
Within the first 15 minutes of reading this I realised that I may not lose up to a stone as I do not have what is classed as a considerable amount of weight to lose, but I thought if I still followed this diet plan then I would still lose some weight and it seems to assist with changing your diet which I can certainly do with.
The book took a little bit of getting in to and whilst it was very good reading into the methods and research Miss Conley undertook to come up with this plan I really just wanted to make a start. The testimonials of those trailing the diet were impressive but after the first four I simply decided that enough was enough and skipped to the plan itself.
The plan was easy to follow and it gave the dieter choices for each meal whilst also explaining that you could simply swap a like for like meal if you wanted to. With each day came its own meal plan with an exercise challenge which I found refreshing as you could take each day at a time. For those with busy lifestyles and wishing for ease with the diet you also had the choice of the solo slim diet which mainly consists of readymade meals, soups and snacks. With recipes also included along with a section on how to maintain you weight it encourages you to maintain your weight on completion of the 28 day plan.
Overall I have been impressed with this book. The diet is easy to follow and after the first few days once I got my head around the thought of being on a diet I never found myself hungry. It has easy to follow recipes and you don’t feel restricted as it gives you plenty of options. On the downside it has far too many testimonials from people who have tried the diet and what they have experienced. I have also found that a 28 day plan is great if you have nothing special planned during this time as it does not give you an off day to indulge for a special treat. I discovered this whilst attending a family function and I found myself on water whilst everyone was enjoying a glass of wine or three. This book is value for money but throughout it also encourages you to spend further money on Rosemary Conely’s products such as the portion pots which feature heavily in the recipe section.
During a week I have lost a few pounds and I have noticed my eating habits changing, as now I will choose a piece of fruit to snack on without first heading for some crisps or chocolate. I have never found myself hungry and I now have a few recipes planned for next week that I can’t wait to try.
