Harry Potter fans will immediately recognise this beautiful white soft plush creature, known as Hedwig.
Hedwig, for those of you who are unaware, was the enchanting white snowy owl, gifted to Harry Potter by Rubeus Hagrid on his eleventh birthday. Hedwig, became Harry’s close companion and mail carrier until her death during the Battle of the Seven Potters in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
I was asked to review the Rainbow Designs ‘My First Stars of Hogwarts’ Hedwig, character owl, known as Hedwig. Now, she finds a new home in the Rainbow Designs family, ready to bring a touch of wizarding wonder to your world.

This beautiful, soft, plush, huggable white owl is not only suitable for babies from birth, but could also be gifted as a Birthday, Christmas or ‘anytime treat’ for a child, young person or adult.
Hedwig would certainly make a cute, fun gift for all Harry Potter fans or perhaps that friend who collects all things ‘owl’.
Standing 20 cm tall, Hedwig is beautifully crafted from soft, snowy-white plush fabric, she has a soft brown beak and sits on velour soft grey claw-like feet to give her a lifelike presence. Her embroidered brown eyes view you with quiet magic, inviting you into the enchantment of the wizarding world. Hedwig is made with stuffing made from recycled plastic.
More than a plush companion, Hedwig is a symbol of loyalty, adventure, and the enduring charm of Harry’s story.
Hedwig is washable too and can be handwashed and air dried.
Perhaps she could be gifted to the new baby who has a Harry Potter-themed nursery, (or whose parents love all things Harry Potter), Hedwig would look enchanting perched on a bedroom shelf.
A toddler or pre-schooler, for example, would likely want to cuddle, or snuggle their own Hedwig under their arm and take her on their magical adventures in play!
And a school-aged child, I could envision curled up with their parent or carer, listening to or reading Harry Potter and stroking Hedwig’s soft, velvety wings as their imagination transports them on journeys unknown.
Aside from all these gift ideas, my lovely best friend is a collector of all owl-themed items and I know that they would definitely make space for this snowy white, soft and cuddly Harry Potter-themed plush toy, which captures the essence of Hedwig, the beloved wise owl.
