Personalised Vintage Inspired Apron Review

Reviewed by Pamela Wright

I was quite excited when I was chosen to review the personalised apron. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking/preparing/serving meals but I’ve never bought an apron before so I tend to spend most of my time washing my hands and drying/wiping them on my clothes or rushing to find a tea towel/hand towel to dry my hands to answer the phone/door etc…

When the parcel arrived in the post it was in a very cute brown box with the company logo sticker on top, inside, the apron was wrapped very carefully in lovely white tissue paper which was sealed with a small white logo sticker. I was really impressed when I saw the quality of the apron, I had chosen the pink apron with white polka dots personalised with “super mummy”. The personalisation was embroidered rather than transferred on so looks really nice, the colours of the embroidery look lovely together too. The apron is really good quality so I checked the label, it didn’t say what it made from but after checking their website its crisp pure cotton.

I popped the apron straight on to test it out for size, I’m only a tiny 5ft 2” and although it goes down to my knees it’s not restrictive or uncomfortable to wear as it’s nice and lightweight. I’m around 12/14 in clothes and it fitted well, I would say this size would probably be fit a good for anyone a few sizes bigger or smaller than me.

CobWebKnitsApronAlthough I’ve only had the apron for a few days its already had to be put in the wash, I popped it on a 30° wash (although label says it can go to 40 and be tumble dried), I was a bit dubious how it would come out but it looks and feels as nice as it did when I opened the box (with the exception of the creases it now has).

I personally think that this is a really good quality apron and it’s definitely worth its money as it looks and feels like it would wear well for quite some time.

This would make a lovely gift for somebody, especially since it can be personalised to suit each individual.
