Now That’s What I Call Music 88 Review
Now 88

I can’t quite believe that we’ve reached number 88 in the brilliant music compilation series, NOW That’s What I Call Music! Turns out we have and I had the pleasure of receiving a copy of NOW 88 to review.
As I’ve come to expect, the tracks selected have all been big chart hits: NOW 88 has more number 1’s than any other NOW album, with 15. There’s a fantastic mix of mostly dance, RnB and pop music, with a few tracks thrown in that are a little more urban. I can honestly say they’re all a great listen, there have been previous compilations where I’ve only really listened to about half the tracks, whereas with this album, I’m not skipping past any.
I work as a dance teacher, with pupils aged from toddlers to teens. I especially like the fact that virtually every track is suitable for young ears. What’s more, the album costs £12.99 for a CD on the NOW music store, or its £13.99 on iTunes – quite a bargain, in my opinion, for 45 songs.
With the birth of online music streaming, you might expect that music compilation albums would be becoming less popular, but this is certainly not the case for me. I like the fact that I don’t have to know what I’m searching for, the NOW compilations will deliver the best of current music and I don’t need to worry about poor internet signal etc… (which is an issue at my main place of work).
This album will definitely be getting lots of plays both at home and my dance school.
RRP: £12.99
