So we ventured to London on a rainy day it and sure did Dora lighten us up! We were off to see Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer LIVE! at the Apollo Theatre.
We got our tickets and made our way to our seats, our seats were lovely and we had a fab view in 'circle' seating.
The show starting just as stated at 3:30pm, the show was opened lovely and Dora was soon on stage. In our group we had a 4 year old, 9 year old and a one year old. They all loved it! At first all the children in the theatre were sat down very nicely, but a little way into the show the children were interacting and absolutely loving the show. I think all the parents were a bit shy but after the interval most of the adults were shouting 'Swiper no swiping', singing along and I think forgot they were there for the kids!
Everyone in the theatre thoroughly enjoyed it. Our 4 year old was doing all the actions singing along to all the songs and was sad when the show was over! Our one year old who was a bit ratty at the time was clapping away smiling and laughing along with the show too. So even really young children will love this. Also another great plus was, there was an interval but was just a fair amount of time, it wasn't too loud for the children and it was very educational with the numbers and shouting along in Spanish. It was just like a TV show but in real life was totally fab. With an amazing appearance from 'Diego' too! All of our favourite was the BUBBLE! It was lovely and as you know what child does not like bubbles right?! The scenery on stage was fab too. It was great and the ending song was lovely.
An absolutely great show for any children and adults. We all loved every second of it!
Now showing at London’s Apollo Theatre until 16 September 2012. For more information and to book tickets visit www.nickjr.co.uk/shows/dora/doralive
