Ecover Oven and Hob Cleaner Review

This new oven & hob cleaner from Ecover is an eco-friendly plant based spray cleaner with a 100% recyclable bottle.

Well what can I say about Ecover’s oven & hob cleaner? It has none of the harsh chemicals associated with the type of cleaning product and is made from plant and mineral based materials. I was very dubious to how clean it would get my hob clean without the harsh chemicals but had to try it!

I followed the directions on the back of the bottle and sprayed on the hob and left it for a minute or so, you can hear it fizzing while it is on the hob! I then took a soft clean cloth and wiped away the cleaner and the hob was almost spotless with very little effort and the tougher grease came off with minimal amount of effort. All that was left behind was an orangey smell.

Overall, what a great product. Not only cleaned the hob of dirt and grease with very little effort in a couple of minutes but the degreaser is made from plant based materials so no harsh chemicals and the bottles including the nozzle are 100% recyclable so great for the environment too!

With an RRP of £4 for a 500ml spray bottle this is excellent value for money.
