Low Cost Glasses Anti-Fog Cloth Review

It’s no secret, face masks and glasses just don’t mix. But Low Cost Glasses say they have created a solution – The Low Cost Glasses have drawn on there 25 years’ of optical experience to create a specially formulated lens cloth, that guarantees up to 72 hours of clear vision. They say the cloth can be used to clean your specs around 60 times. So that’s up to 4,320 hours of fog-free living for just £4.99.

When I was chosen to review this product I couldn’t wait to put it through the test. Especially as its fogged up glasses weather time. Not only when glasses wearers alike walk in from the cold are unable to see a thing through our glasses due to fog, but to top it off society is now having to wear face masks that make glasses fog up no matter wether you are indoors or outdoors. I personally think there is nothing worse than trying to talk to someone whilst at the same time trying to use your finger as a windscreen wiper so you can focus.

The cloths come in a handy sized clear plastic wallet pouch so easier enough to slip into your hand bag or jacket pocket.

• Wash the lenses carefully before application to prevent scratches
• Use the Clear-it anti-fog cloth to rub both sides of the lens 5-10 times, or breathe on the lens and wipe.
• Each cloth can be used approximately 60 times, but this also depends on the size of the lenses.
• The lenses will stay for free for approximately 72 hours if humidity is around 60, but it will be at least 24 hours
• If humidity is around 60%, your lenses can stay clear for up to 72 hours, with the minimum time being 24 hours
• This cloth is non-washable

The fabric the cloth is made from is lovely and soft with a feel of suede. It has pinking sheared edges and an ingrained Low Cost Glasses motif. The cloth glides effortlessly across the glasses lenses, so a few wipes of each lens as advised and all ready to give it a go. The cloth is also easily folded back up to slot straight back into its pouch.

I am always nipping in and out to the garden with my dog so quickly noticed that my glasses were so far staying fog free with the change of temperature from inside to outside and vice versa.

On going out and about whilst having to wear my mask I had totally forgotten to take any notice of my glasses until I was talking to someone else and thought ha their glasses fog up just like mine to which I then quickly realised mine were fog free, I did some heavy breathing into my mask to see if I could purposely fog them up and no yet again the the anti fog cloth was winning. It made such a difference been able to have a conversation with someone without having to fight the fog, as well as no more feeling disorientated whilst walking around.

I would highly recommend, the anti fog cloth is a winner in my eyes!
