Love Boo Mummy and Me Pamper Kit Review

Reviewed by Sarah Bowyer

I was lucky enough to be given this gift box as a review and I am extremely happy that I was chosen to do it.

I have two children, one of which is a baby. I have always tried to use good/well-known brands of toiletries on their skin and for their baths as I don’t want anything to irritate them.

I was a little anxious to try the Love Boo Mummy and Me Pamper Kit at first as I hadn’t really heard of them and didn’t know if the products would be gentle enough. However, when the gift box arrived, I was pleasantly surprised.

All the products in this set are made with natural ingredients, no parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals, synthetic colours and other nasties.

The first product I tried was the ‘Super Stretchy Miracle Oil’. I love this! I have tried other well known, expensive stretch mark oils, but in my opinion, this one is better.

It is made with a blend of oils to moisturise and to help with elasticity, passionflower to help soothe skin and sweet almond oil to help with ageing.

I have been using this all over my body and I have been putting loads on my hands at night and they feel super soft and look great.

It absorbs into my skin really fast and doesn’t leave me feeling sticky or slimy. It also smells lovely too, a light lemony ginger scent that isn’t overpowering at all.

‘Splendidly Soothing Bath Soak’ was the next thing I tried in the box. I ran a bath and poured some of this into it and it filled the bath with soft foamy bubbles.

This smells like Turkish Delight, but again a nice delicate smell which left my skin feeling super soft and smelling delicious!

This bath soak is made with white water lily and mallow to moisturise and arnica, chamomile and rose geranium for supple skin. I bathed both my children in this and their skin was lovely and soft when they got out.

‘Very Gentle Top-to-Toe Wash’, I know this might sound silly, but this smells just like babies! It is beautiful. You can use this all over their bodies and hair and again, it leaves their skin soft and smelling lovely.

This wash is ultra-mild and is made with soothing oats and softening Tahitian Monoi, which softens the hair and leaves it feeling silky smooth. It also leaves skin feeling moisturised.

‘Kind and Creamy Baby Lotion’ has an almond smell and this also left my baby’s skin feeling amazing.

After a bath, I try to give my baby a little massage just to calm her down even more before bed, so I used this on her. It absorbed really well and didn’t leave a greasy film on her body.

‘Soothing Bottom Butter’ is for nappy rash. My baby doesn’t really get nappy rash, but does occasionally get a little bit of a red bottom, so whenever she does I usually just put a dab of Sudacrem on and it clears it up pretty quickly. I tried this on my baby and it did the same job as the Sudacrem. This is lighter than Sudacrem, which is good as I sometimes think Sudacrem just comes straight off on to the nappy once I’ve put it on. It is lightly fragranced and has cotton seed and chamomile which are soothing and moisturising. It also leaves a light film on the skin which helps to stop any irritation.

Overall, I am delighted with this pamper box and would definitely give it 5 out of 5.

The products all smell amazing, none of them are overpowering and everything has been designed to be sensitive, both for babies and new mums.

I will definitely be looking into buying more products from this range and will be recommending them to other parents I know.
