I have recently got back into caravanning after a long break. I have been on the look out for equipment to use whilst caravanning and was therefore delighted to have the opportunity to review the Ledlenser ML6 Connect WL. It arrived promptly in perfect condition. The box it came in is well designed. The colours look great together. The box also has lots of useful information on it. I couldn’t wait to get started and my partner helped me get the lantern set up and working.
The lantern itself looks fantastic and in my view is the perfect size and weight to hold. The ML3 Connect WL is, according to the box “the smart controllable lantern for all life situations.” You can operate the lantern via the wristband style remote control which comes with the product or via the Ledlenser Connect App, which can be found on the App store/Google Play.
I love the glare free functionality of this lantern and the “warm light”. The box states that the lantern has “patented micro prism technology” and is “glare-free and efficient.” The lantern can be used as a power bank for other devices. I think that this is such a useful function. Both the app and wristband style remote control are easy to use. You can even personalise the lantern on the app. The lantern itself has rechargeable batteries, a detachable base and magnetic charging cable. I like how the batteries being rechargeable means less batteries being thrown away. You can either have the light red or white and the lantern is dimmable. The lantern also has a useful blinking function. According to the box the red light is “to maintain night vision”. The lantern is handy for those night time trips over to the campsite toilet facilities and more preferable to using the torch function on my mobile phone. I like that there is more than one option for mounting the lantern. I think that the lantern would rove very useful during a power cut. You can easily see how much power is left in the battery too so there is no expected running out of power. The lantern is so easy to find even in the dark as the elements are cleverly fluorescent. You can even lock it during transport so that no battery charge gets wasted and the product comes with a handy transport bag.
I would recommend Ledlenser on the whole as well as the Ledlenser ML6 Connect WL to others. This lantern is really simple to use, great quality and I can see it lasting for many years to come. I prefer it to other products I have used in the past. The lantern even comes with a 7 year warranty.
I was lucky enough to also receive a Ledlenser Kidcamp 6 to review which is fantastic.
