By unveiling a newly refurbished and expanded Paddington™ flagship store at London Paddington railway station, STUDIOCANAL demonstrates its ability to develop and manage world-class IPs and its key role within the group to increase its strategy on brand development, licensing, and immersive storytelling.

Following an extensive redevelopment, the new store has now doubled in size and has been carefully designed to offer an even more exciting experience for all. Alongside being a must visit for families, Paddington™ fans of all ages and tourists; it will give millions of commuters and travellers transiting the station the opportunity to discover everything that Paddington™ has to offer.

A cherished landmark for Paddington™ lovers worldwide, the revamped flagship store brings to life the heartwarming adventures of the beloved bear across three dedicated areas, each celebrating a different aspect of his timeless charm.

On average London Paddington sees more than 833 thousand people pass through the station each week. This newly enlarged store now means they will be able to step into a world of wonder with specially curated areas inspired by the brand’s key pillars:

• Classic Paddington™: Honouring the classic heritage of Michael Bond’s original stories, this section features timeless books, elegant stationery, new stylish apparel from infant to adults inspired by the bear’s earliest adventures. New exclusive apparel and gift collections are set to release this Spring bringing a modern twist carefully curated to appeal to all age groups.

• The Adventures of Paddington™: Designed for younger fans, this playful space is inspired by Nickelodeon’s hit animated TV series, offering an array of plush toys, picture books, and a whole host of fun-filled merchandise that captures the warmth and joy of the animated world of Paddington™. An activity space also allows young children to watch and enjoy episodes from the TV series and play with toys inspired by our charming bear’s latest adventures.

• Paddington™ Movie Magic: A tribute to the globally beloved film franchise developed, produced and distributed by STUDIOCANAL (a Canal+ company), this area showcases exclusive collections inspired by Paddington in Peru, the latest blockbuster sensation that grossed $190 million globally so far, along with props from the film and special movie-themed memorabilia. Fans can even take a photo with our special bear through two in-store ‘instagrammable’ opportunities with PaddingtonTM statues.
