This Didriksons parka so far has lived up to its expectations of being 100% waterproof and windproof, I have experienced both these weather conditions within the last few days.

The parka is an excellent length for me as it reaches my mid-thigh, this helped to keep me warm and dry. The zip is a two way zip, so once the parka is on and fastened it can be opened from both the top and the bottom. I found I had to be very precise when lining up the two parts of the zip.

All seams are taped to keep it 100% waterproof and windproof.

The sleeves have an inner jumper like cuff and the outer sleeves are adjustable with a kind of press stud.

The hem can be adjusted with a drawstring as can the hood and waist. The hood has deDotParkatachable synthetic fur trim.

Inside the parka there are two net pockets on opposite sides, one high, the other low, plus a hidden zipped pocket with the opening of this pocket parallel to the zip on the right hand side.

The shell of the coat is 75% cotton and 25% polyester. The inside of the coat is partially fur lined with the rest quilted, both materials are100% polyester.

The coat is very comfortable to wear. The two way zip makes it possible to open the parka from the bottom if necessary. The hood gives excellent cover, the inner cuff and adjustable sleeves keep out the cold and rain. I was kept warm and snug.

I can thoroughly recommend this parka if you are looking for one that is 100% waterproof and windproof and very comfortable to wear.
