Mother’s Day with Seascape Island Apothecary Review

So, on one of the coldest days in March, I was very happy to receive a box of goodies to review from Seascape Island Apothecary.
On opening the box – Firstly, I was impressed with the well-presented packaging of all the item’s and equally impressed with how each product looked, although these items are reasonably priced the pots / bottles make them look more expensive.
I couldn’t wait to try them. First of all, I tried the Seascape Island Apothecary Uplift Sea Salt Body Scrub (RRP: £16). This comes in a lovely 175ml glass pot. The information on the item tells you that the product contains pure sea salt to nourish the skin and unclog your pores and remove any dead skin cells. And also, that it is made with 100% natural essential oils of Jersey, eucalyptus to stimulate the mind and lime oil to energise the body, lavender to refresh the senses and beeswax to nourish the skin! All this sounds fab! And it was!
I used a small amount at a time to gently rub all over. This really is a delicate scrub. Not harsh on the skin at all. I even took a moment to just ‘relax’ and enjoy the smell (reminded me of being in a spa). Of course, I couldn’t stay in the bath for ever so time to dry off and try the next item.
The Seascape Uplift Body Lotion (RRP: £16) was yet again presented very well in a lovely 300ml bottle. Also explained on the product is all the wonderful ingredient’s – 100% natural essential oils, eucalyptus to stimulate the circulation, lime to energise the body and lavender to refresh the senses, and also Jersey beeswax and Shea butter.
This will last you a long time as you don’t need much, it’s such a smooth non-greasy body lotion, and made my skin feel so silky soft. It worked really well after using the body scrub but was also nice to use the next morning – as it soon soaks into the skin and didn’t leave the skin sticky/tacky.
The other item I was asked to review was the 75ml Seascape Refresh Hand & Nail Cream (RRP: £10). Again, well informed of the 100% natural ingredients and suitable for sensitive skin.
This came in a handy size tube so that you can easily take this with you and use throughout the day.
I, as I am sure many other people do, suffer from very dry skin especially in between each finger, even more so at this time of year. I found this a nice creamy, non-greasy product and soon soaked into the skin, and after a couple of days I’ve noticed a difference!
I feel all these products will soon get your skin ready for spring/summer and beyond.
What a wonderful gift these would make for Mother’s Day, or any other special present. Each item is of good quality and even looks nice displayed in the bathroom.
