My two children aged 5 and 4 were very excited to get their hands of the toy CASDON Little Helper Dyson Ball Vacuum Cleaner. I own a proper Dyson vacuum cleaner they were particularly pleased to get a toy which really resembled mummies vacuum cleaner.
The Dyson Ball arrived from in a colourful box which pictures of boys and girls playing with the vacuum cleaner and I love the fact that they have made it appealing to both boys and girls. The box gives a great description of the product from the size of it to all the functions.
The Dyson Ball Vacuum Cleaner was extremely easy to set up. It was simply a matter of placing the handle into the main unit. The only drawback is that it takes 4 of the large C batteries.
The toy vacuum cleaner is extremely lifelike – it has all the features that that a proper Dyson vacuum cleaner would have. It twists and turns and colourful bits of plastic move around the cylinder as if they are dust and dirt from the floor. The noise from the vacuum cleaner is also very realistic and I was amazed that it actually does pick up bits from the floor.
There is a switch at the back to turn it off and on and then the child can switch the vacuum cleaner on by using a realistic button at the front.
There is a plastic container which can be emptied but my son found the button to release it tricky to open.
My two children have had so much fun with this vacuum cleaner. It is a great height for them (74cm) and light enough for them to carry about the house. The really enjoy using it when I am vacuuming and they have started to follow me about ‘helping’ with their toy Dyson.
The Dyson Ball Vacuum Cleaner is priced at £25 which I feel is a fair price. It is a robust toy and the true to life features are fantastic. My children have played with it constantly since it arrived and I feel it is one of those toys that they will not get bored with quickly.
