Blade And Rose Festive Jumper Review

I received this gorgeous child’s Christmas jumper for my son from Blade and Rose. A family run business designing Ethical & Sustainable Children’s Clothing.

The jumper is a lovely light grey colour with a soft brown fluffy fleece reindeer head and the famous colourful red nose. My little boy just loved feeling Rudolph’s fluffy antlers. The jumper feels good quality and I think will wash well. It recommends washing on a 30. It fits really well and is I would say an accurate fit for the age. It’s the perfect Christmas jumper to be paired up with any type of jean, legging, or skirt to make a smart but casual outfit for meeting Santa or any of those holiday days out that you want your child to be smart but comfortable for. It’s just a pity my son will have no doubt grown out of it by next year as I think this would have been one that would be pulled out year on year. However, in the name of sustainability it will definitely be one that is passed on to a friend’s little one.

The company has a wider range of equally as gorgeous clothing available. There is a small Christmas range with adorable leggings and socks which would turn the jumper into such a super cute festive outfit for your little one. There are also some lovely “everyday” pieces for younger and older children and even a spooky little Halloween range. The product range consists of leggings, tops, jumpers, socks, hats, shoes, swimwear and accessories. All with unusual and very cute designs.

The festive sweater is available in sizes 0-6 years and retails on the company’s website https://bladeandrose.co.uk at £20 + £4.95 pp, although if you spend over £30 p&p is free. So, a great excuse to maybe pair up with a fabulous pair of leggings or adorable shoes.

Priced at £20 it may be slightly more expensive than a Christmas jumper you can pick up at one of the supermarkets but like some of the high street shop offerings this appears to be better quality. Therefore, not only more comfortable for your little one but will hopefully sustain the inevitable load of washes it will need from now until Christmas. So, to do you bit for the planet why not this year instead of buying a few cheap jumpers just buy one really good one. And if it doesn’t fit next year pass it on.

I would certainly recommend not only this gorgeous jumper to friends and family but also recommend they have a look on the Blade and Rose website at all the other fantastic and quirky things they have on offer for children. I can’t wait for my little man to start getting the wear out of this jumper. Is October too soon? And I will be purchasing some of the quirky leggings for my little girl who will just love all the designs. I would give a festive 5 stars out of 5 for this jumper!
