I was sent a Belledorm Cocoonzzz Pillow Eye Mask Bundle to review for the Mother’s Day Gift Guide. The bundle consists of one silk pillowcase and one silk eye mask. They come in a variety of colours including Ivory, Black, Dash, Leopard, Marble, Platinum and Powder Pink. I was sent a platinum standard pillowcase and a powder pink silk eye mask to review. Both of which are lovely colours.
According to their website ‘At Cocoonzzz we love our sleep, in particular, our “beauty sleep”! Unlike cotton or linen, which tugs on the skin, silk glides over your face and reduces the stretching and pulling that causes lines on the skin.
Our Cocoonzzz pillowcase has great cosmetic qualities for your hair. Less friction from silk than other fibres equals less frizz and more shine less absorbent fibres allow your hair to stay fully hydrated and leaving it lustrous.
It is made from 100% pure mulberry silk 16 momme, without any other chemical substances. Our silk is made from Grade A silk, the highest quality available. The long A grade strands are strong and contain almost no impurities giving a healthy sheen. Sleeping on our Cocoonzzz pillowcase is full of benefits for your hair and facial skin.

Having used both the pillowcase and the eye mask for a couple of nights now, I can say that I have noticed a reduction in the lines on my face, they are still there, but they are not as evident as when I have used a normal pillowcase, and my hair is not as crazy in the morning and there is less static in my hair as well. The eye mask and the pillowcase are both so soft and feel and look luxurious. Laying down to sleep on the pillow with the eye mask on feels lovely and really helps me to settle down to sleep feeling the softness of the material on my face.
The pillowcase, although it says standard, is very roomy and will accommodate even the biggest of pillows, just make sure that the pillow you use is smooth as the material of the pillowcase is quite thin and any lumps, bumps or feathers can be felt through it.
Both are hand wash only to preserve the mulberry silk fibres and cannot be dry cleaned, tumble dried or bleached, but they can be ironed on a low heat. I have yet to wash them to see how they wash up though.
Both arrived beautifully packaged – please see photos attached. Each product was wrapped in tissue paper, sealed with a Cocoonzzz sticker and placed in a sturdy grey Cocoonzz box, before being wrapped in Belledorm tissue paper and put into packaging for delivery. This shows the luxurious nature of the product, when it comes so beautifully wrapped and packaged, making the special person in your life feel treated with a little bit of luxury.
The recommended retail price (RRP) is £194.00 but the bundle is currently priced at £52.38, which for a pillowcase and an eye mask may be considered to be a little on the pricey side, when you consider that they are both made from the luxurious mulberry silk, you can understand the price and as a treat for that special person in your life, it is well worth it.
I would highly recommend these products as a gift. But be warned, like myself, I now want to buy the entire bed set to match. They also sell Cocoonzz silk hair turbans, scrunchies and headbands in the same range.
Belledorm website includes this range, but they also sell sheets, duvet covers and sets, duvets, pillows, protectors, toppers, accessories, bundles and silk. For anyone wondering about the colour or the quality of their products, you can spend £3 on samples and when you place an order, they take the £3 off of your final bill, which I thought was a great feature. They also currently have a February Sale on and if you spend over £40 you get free delivery and if you spend over £50, you get a free gift. So if you purchase the Cocoonzzz Pillowcase Eye Mask Bundle you could get a free gift and have it delivered for free.
Treat yourself, your mother, or the special lady in your life to one of these bundles. Us women love a little bit of luxury and for that I give this product 5/5 stars.
