The Power Bank 10K comes equipped with a 10,000 mAh battery which can give up to an additional 36 hours of battery life to your smartphone, tablets and other accessories, you can power devices from one USB-C or two USB-A ports. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included, therefore you can start charging right out of the box. I was really happy to review this product as I had been needing to upgrade the one I already own.
The power bank arrived well packaged within a padded envelope. Within the product packaging you have the power bank, A small USB-A to USB-C cable which seems to be the new standardised charging cable, measuring 6 in./15cm small but functional. There is a quick start guide, which I would say is more of an information leaflet than a guide as it has a list of do not’s, rather than instructions to guide you. Unfortunately I was unable to find how long the power bank needed to be charged before first use, as well as how long for subsequent charges, upon looking it up on the belkin webpage https://www.belkin.com/uk and searching frequently asked questions within the support page I was still unable to find this out although I did find out a few other snippets of information like it can charge up to three devices at once and it has four status lights to indicate charge level to which three have lit up upon its first turn on using the power button situated at the side of the power pack. So it looks ready to open, plug and charge away. For peace of mind It comes with a 2 year warranty. You can also find a list of compatible devices on the website.
The power bank measures Length: 100.95mm/3.97″ Width: 65mm/2.56″ Height: 25.20mm/0.99″ so is a handy size to fit into your handbag or pocket although could be slightly bulky in your pocket. It comes in a choice of colours, black, white or rose gold. I received this in white and would have preferred a matching white cable to have come with it instead of black but this is just me being picky.
I find it useful to keep a power bank in my handbag on days/nights out. As well as taking one away on holiday as it always comes in handy to charge something when you haven’t had time or chance to plug your item straight into a socket for charging. Definitely a must have if you have children who like to use their electronics whilst out and about, nothing worse than when you have a child or teenager with a flat battery.
I am yet to use this to its full potential as I have only had it a few days so yet to drain the battery down but it will be getting plenty of use. For under thirty pounds it is good value for the money.
