All Shook Up Cocktails Review

I was gifted 3 flavours of Pre-Mixed Cocktail from All Shook Up. As someone that has worked in the cocktail bar industry for the past 8 years, the idea of canned cocktails has always been a bit of a no-no, but I was super excited to give them a try and see how they compare! All Shook Up promise great flavours of classic cocktails mixing alcohol with fruit juices, sugar and natural flavourings – “simply chill, shake, drink and enjoy”.

I tried the Mixed Berry Mojito, Pina Colada, and the Passion Fruit Martini. They were packed full of flavour, all being much more on the sweet side (great if you’ve got a sweet tooth, like me). However, there wasn’t much in the way of tasting the base spirit of the cocktail. They were very enjoyable, and admittedly very easy to drink, I just personally prefer a stronger flavour of alcohol within a cocktail. My favourite out of the three was the Mixed Berry Mojito, it was just so refreshing! That first sip was just lovely; super sweet berry flavours with that hint of mint and lime in the background – fantastic summer drink to enjoy in the sunshine!

These are perfect for a sit down in the garden, a night in with friends, or to take on a trip for a nice, fruity, refreshing drink! The cans are really nicely designed, super cute, especially for taking pictures whilst you’re out and about. It feels more stylish than a regular pre-mixed drink you might get at the shop, easier to carry around than glass bottles too! They’d make a really cute little gift for someone, or perhaps as part of a gift hamper – cute designs, easy to drink, sweet tasting cocktails – what’s not to love?!

They have 5 different classic cocktails to choose from: Passion Fruit Martini, Pina Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, Mixed Berry Mojito, and Mango Margarita. These are all 3.4% alcohol by volume; nice and easy to drink, and can easily have a few without greatly feeling the effects (individual alcohol competency dependent, of course!) and no headaches in the morning! I’m going to be keeping my eyes peeled for the Mango Margarita in stores – I absolutely love a Margarita, so I’m really excited to give it a try after tasting the others!

Another great thing to mention about the All Shook Up range is that are their products are notes to be suitable for vegans, and are listed as having no gluten-containing products! Meaning everyone can enjoy them (over 18’s only, of course).

I would rate at a 3.5/5 – very enjoyable, would 100% purchase in the future.

These fabulous little canned cocktails are currently £1.60 each at Tesco, which is such good value for money. You can even get a case of 10 with 2 of each flavour for £14.50! A perfect sampling case to share (or enjoy to yourself). Go get yourself some to try!
