Abbie Lace Vintage Rose Katherine Hamilton Bra

THIS ITEM WAS GIFTED TO THE REVIEWER FOR THE PURPOSES OF WRITING THE REVIEW. ALL THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ARE THE REVIEWER'S OWN.

The Abbie vintage rose eyelash lace bra by Katherine Hamilton arrived beautifully packaged wrapped in tissue paper inside a sturdy black presentation box. Inside was the bra and a card detailing care instructions.
My first impression of the bra was that it was beautiful, but possibly impractical – it seemed almost flimsy and far more delicate than anything I would ordinarily wear as having had 2 pregnancy’s and 3 years respectively of breastfeeding I feel that my breasts need all the support they can get! As soon as I put the bra on though my first impression was smashed to pieces. I have no idea how a bra that feels so light and delicate can give such support by my breasts have never looked and felt better!

The support wire is encased in a soft fabric and sits at the root of the breast lifting the breasts and giving them great definition. The bra itself is a pinky hue but once on it blends seamlessly with my complexion as the material is translucent making the bra suitable to wear with anything without being visible.

The cups are lined with a super soft tulle fabric on the inside which is soft against the skin and the outside of the cups are french lace with an eyelash trim. Between the two cups nestle three silk buttons in a delicate row. The band is made of tulle and has a small golden metal circle featuring the brand ‘Katherine Hamilton’ and the straps are silk. The straps are easy to adjust and incredibly soft and comfortable against the skin.

The bra is a balconette style and looks stunning on, the design is whimsical and romantic. I feel beautiful in it and it’s so comfortable that I really feel it’s suitable to wear for any occasion.

The bra retails at a somewhat eye watering £108 which is more than I have ever spent on a bra and I was somewhat dubious as to wether there could ever be a product that I wear under my clothes that couldn’t justify this price tag. Well, this is certainly a strong contender. The comfort this bra gives in itself is a very strong factor in its plus column, as is the look of the bra. The fact it combines being beautiful and comfortable is really quite overwhelming- almost the holy grail of underwear and dare I say it- perhaps even worth the price tag?

I have browsed the website and the matching underwear are also gorgeous- I am certainly tempted to treat myself and will be sending the link for the site to my husband as Christmas approaches!

Overall I think this Bra would make a wonderful present either for a loved one or a cheeky present for yourself! It really is a luxurious item and when I consider how much I’ve spent on bras that are slightly ill fitting or unattractive I can quite easily make a case for splashing out on a few good quality bra’s that make me feel amazing! It’s hard to find any fault in this product other than the price which would put it out of reach for some people, I love the bra and would love to buy more from the range if funds allow!
