I have three children and I don’t know about you, but we go through a lot of water bottles, they get bashed, banged about, thrown in backpacks and pretty much destroyed so we were very pleased to be offered a personalised water bottle to review. As was my nine year old son, who has had the same bashed, dented water bottle for the last year so a new bottle for a review was just what he needed!

The bottle we have been sent comes from a wide range of water bottles, bottles for boys, girls, mums, dads, and everyone else. Ours is the personalised Blue Football Shirt bottle – also available in red – it is a white bottle with a blue football shirt, the bottle can be personalised with a name (maximum of 15 characters), which goes above the shirt, the shirt can then be personalised with a number, this could be a favourite number, birthdate or maybe even favourite footballers number.

The bottle arrived in a plastic envelope, inside was a white box and in that the bottle in a lightly padded plastic protective bag.

The bottle is made from aluminium so it is nice and strong to last out a school day and it holds 600ml so a fair amount for any thirsty little ones.

There are also 2 lids supplied – both black, an extra helpful addition for fussy children and also for when they ruin one – if yours are anything like mine, at some point this will happen! The first lid is a sports type lid, that has a cover over to keep it clean and sanitary and the second lid is a screw top, with a handy ring top and carabiner clip so that it can be clipped onto a bag, book bag, boot bag etc, also a great extra for the child that looses all the bottles!

It does also come with a round foam disk to stick to the bottom of the bottle to give it a bit more grip and stability and also stop the bottom of the bottle from getting more dents and knocks.

The bottle has stood up well to school runs for a couple of weeks now, it is nice and robust and my son likes the sports lid, he has chewed it up a bit so I’m not sure how much longer it will last, but we will swap to the other then.

All in all this is a great bottle, the personalisation stops it from going missing at school and means that my son is more invested with actually remembering it. It is robust, looks good and is good value for money. The two lids are a huge plus point and the foam disk to stick on the bottom is a lovely touch and one I have not seen from anywhere else at all. My only issue is now I need two more for the other two jealous little monsters!
