Timber Tots Hazlenut House Review

With as many grandchildren as I have which range from new born and upwards, Hazlenut House is an amazingly great and brilliant addition to the many collections of toys I have for when the grandchildren come round to see us.

Hazlenut House is a beautiful little round house where Ella lives. Ella is a cute little figurine with a blue bow in her hair and hearts a cute little blue and white frock.

The house is a beautiful brown tree in the shape of… yes you have guessed it, a hazelnut. At the front of the house has a cute little circular window that you can look into and inside the house, there is an open hatch that looks through from the kitchen to the bedroom and vice versa.

Open the house up and press the dark green button to move between each f the three compartments. There is a bedroom, kitchen and bath/shower room. The house comes with 3 accessories, a fridge and a sink with pull small pull out table. Next to the sink is a sticker on top of a hob with the sticker of an oven in front of and under the sink. Inside the fridge is a sticker showing milk and vegetables.

There is also a bed for the bedroom. Each of these accessories are placed on a spot which prevents them from moving.

Not only does the house have these accessories, all the bright and bold colours which really do stand out, they are especially great for a child’s development. I made sure I encouraged my younger grandchildren to learn the colours and what each of the items are by asking them were the item were, what colour is the milk, what vegetables are in the fridge etc. For them, it is great from a cognitive development perspective.

There is a carry handle at the top of the house which means it can be carried out and it do does weigh that much, therefore, it is very easy for toddler to carry it around, even with all the accessories in it. Having a carry handle means it can be carried around the house from room to room, out in the car, or even walking around in the garden.

There are different family members (these do not come with the house) and would make a great addition to the Ella for playmates.

.  A fantastic product and just perfect for little hands which encourages interactive and cognitive play with lots of fun and learning on the way. I would most definitely recommend buying this.
