All About the Bump Personalised Christmas Pyjamas Review

I was recently gifted the cutest pair of Christmas pyjamas for my 7 year old son by All About the Bump. I buy new Christmas pjs every year for my 2 children, so I jumped at the chance to have a pair of personalised ones for my little one to wear on Xmas eve.

I was contacted by the company with a link to their website and given details of how to order the set for my son.The email was really personal and helpful, giving me a really good experience first off.

I decided to have a quick browse on the website, which was laid out in an accessible and effective way and I soon found the Christmas sleepwear section under occasions on their menu. There was so many different options ranging from baby sleep suits to pjs for an age 9-10 year old. I loved every pair that was on offer and couldn’t choose, so I opted for a surprise pair through the email contact.

My son is quite tall for his age so I knew the age 7-8 set of pjs wouldn’t fit him by the time it came to Xmas. He’s currently wearing age 8-9 clothes, so I opted for the 9-10 to ensure they fit him. My daughter is in adult clothing now as she is a tall 11 year old, so there weren’t any pjs available for her. Although the company did say they were looking at adding adult sizes to their range- I think this would be amazing and would consider purchasing matching sets for the whole family if they did.

I didn’t wait too long for delivery of the pyjamas and they were packaged up carefully with tissue paper. Once I opened them I was really pleased with the design and the quality of them. They’re super Christmassy, with red and white candy stripes on the arms and legs and snowflakes around Oliver’s name on the chest. I absolute adore them! They are very tastefully designed and executed.

The pyjamas are made from 100% cotton and feel so soft to touch. I was really surprised by the quality of them considering they are such a reasonable price of £14.99 personalised. I’ve spent more than that on just a pair of pjs with no personalisation in the past.

I have washed the pyjamas as I wash all clothing before letting my children wear them and I ensured to wash on a 40 degree spin inside out and to air dry. I am quite conscious about putting items of clothing with prints on them in the dryer as I don’t want to ruin them or affect their longevity. They washed really well and didn’t shrink. The sizing is good and my son has plenty of room (I may even get next year out of them too!).

When going back to look at the website for future orders, I found it really easy to navigate and to place an order. You choose your item, then click the size and then there’s a box for you to add your personalised text to. You can then add this to your basket ready for payment.

I really enjoyed looking at the other items on the website and having a nosy at the maternity wear. I can really relate to the concept behind the brand being a plus size woman myself and also struggling to find maternity wear in the shops. There are some really practical items on the website, which make it a really effective site for mums to purchase some lovely things from.

Overall, I’m extremely happy with the pyjamas and my son loves them. He’s just upset I won’t let him wear them yet! They fit him well and they’re a prefect addition to his Xmas Eve box.
