I have just returned from the Grove Theatre in Dunstable with my 11 year old daughter after going to watch Pop Factor the Concert.

Upon arriving in the foyer of the theatre, there was an instant buzz, lots of excited people ready to watch the show. We were quickly served upon ordering some refreshments and then made our way to our seats situated in row C of the stalls, we had a fantastic view of the stage. The audience was a variation from toddlers to grandparents. There was one particular lady sitting next to me who must have been at least 80 she thoroughly enjoyed herself the entire evening bopping up and down getting involved on a family day out with daughter and her grandchildren. This was a delight to watch so many families from the community come together on a Sunday afternoon.

Once the curtain went up we could see the set was a copy of the X-Factor show from the television show, everyone got excited and was cheering along with lots of kids waving lighted foams wands back and forth.

The show opened with a group of handsome young guys and beautiful young ladies singing and dancing who were all very trendy in their outfits. The singing throughout the show was of very good calibre and certainly fantastic dance moves who all displayed so much energy. There was instant interaction with the audience and lots more throughout the show. The younger teeny boppers were in their element and was a joy to see their faces beaming as they really didn’t know what to expect next.

There were hits from everyone’s favourite artists, including Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Little Mix, Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars and many more recognisable hits.

Various current chart songs were sung and lots of the audience were happily singing along and lots of the audience were on their feet dancing throughout the show. Lots of impressive costume changes throughout the whole show too.

Big shout out to NKB Dance School (local dance school) who performed one dance with the cast, they all looked very proud to participate and was a pleasure to watch and deserve the cheers they received.

Another added bonus to the show was the cast met the kids after the show and offered to sign and autograph posters in the foyer along with selfies. The kids really did get excited with this and loved the kind gesture. A real friendly bunch of performers who made a lot of people happy this afternoon.

Entertaining, lots of flashing lights and plenty of screams and high energy dancing/performing. A great family afternoon/evening out and recommended to give you the wow factor. You will not be disappointed.  Enjoyed every minute.
