Aqua Sphere Vista Junior Swim Goggles Review
Vista Junior Swim Goggles
Reviewed by Philippa Plater
Imogen (age 9) is a regular swimmer and the type of swimmer that has to wear goggles all the time or you hear the screams of “ahhh water in my eye!!!” Both of my girls love their goggles so much that they wear them in the bath too!
The Aqua Sphere Vista Junior Goggles arrived in a great plastic glasses case that could be used to protect the googles (we won’t mention the time that Mummy stood on and smashed goggles belonging to youngest daughter a while back…). The goggles are stylish, the purpley/pinky accent colour is delicate and not over the top. They feature the exclusive Softeril seal feeling soft yet secure on the face leaving minimal red marks and a leak free seal, are latex free and offer 100% UVA-UVB protection while offering anti-fog and scratch resistant lens’ with 180 degree panoramic vision.
We gave the goggles to Imogen to fit herself, which she was able to do very easily (both loosen and tighten) whilst wearing them. She found the shape a perfect fit and therefore the seal was great with no water leaking in, even when attempting the triple underwater summersault!
The design allows the good peripheral vision due to the almost complete transparency design. The strap appears to be very strong and the clips well-made and not flimsy, which I assume would make them durable and long lasting. The size was appropriate for Imogen aged almost 9, but I think that it would be suitable for 6-12 year olds.
Al in all great googles, attractive design, easy to use and well made.
