Brainbox Candy Novelty Coasters Review

Although the coasters arrived in a brown ‘Jiffy’ padded envelope, I was surprised to discover they were sliding about loose and unprotected within the package, which I found to be a little unprofessional.

The two coasters seemed to be well made, with good quality materials. The 100mm square mats feature a cork base and an easy to wipe clean glossy upper surface.

The coaster incorporating the saying ‘For Instant Happiness Just Add Wine’ is simplistic in design, with bright multi coloured bubble style lettering. The graphics on the ‘This Person is a Cocktail Queen’ come across fairly basic and the purple, pink and white colours seem less vivid than those of the other mat. For some reason, the example I received showed signs of wear to the ‘queen’ section of the graphic.

If I have to be honest, the phrases featured on the examples aren’t particularly imaginative. However, they are non-offensive and would probably be a safe option if bought as a gift.

At a reasonable recommended retail price of £2.84 each, I think they would probably work well as Christmas stocking filler or as part of a ‘Secret Santa’ present.
