Mike the Knight is a popular children's television programme in Cbeebies.

This electric sword is an excellent product for children who enjoy watching Mike the Knight on his many adventures, children will instantly recognise this as his 'trusty' sword.

As a mummy of five young children the idea of a sword initially left me feeling a little wary of injures and bickering over this one sword however I was left pleasantly surprised. It captured their imaginations they went on adventures of their very own which kept them entertained for long periods of time. The swords blade despite being made from foam was not flimsy in the slightest and survived the grasps of a 5-year-old, 3-year-old and a 2-year-old on their dangerous quest to rescue the princess. 

The sword is a perfect size not too big, yet, not to small. Unfortunately however this toy requires 2 AAA batteries to enjoy the toy to its full potential along with some excellent 'swoosh' and 'clang' sound effects, as these are not included.
